After a time of caring, feeding and admiring, the time has come to harvest. Preferably harvest the honey in the early morning before the bees are "awake".
To extract the honey, the sealed frames are removed from the beehive and taken to an area away from the bees. The frames are usually placed on an
unsealing rack. The seal is removed by means of an
uncapping fork or knife. Then you can get to work extracting the honey out of the windows.
